Returns, refunds and product condition Cancellation periods, sealed products and faulty goods

Last updated: 14 August 2026

We want you to buy from Babsi Cards with confidence. This policy reflects our current Shopify return and cancellation rules: return requests for fulfilled items may be made within 14 days from delivery, accepted returns receive free standard return shipping, and eligible unfulfilled items may be cancelled within 1 hour of ordering. Nothing in these operational rules restricts your mandatory consumer rights.

14-day return window

For most goods purchased online, UK consumers may cancel without giving a reason by telling us within 14 days after the day the goods are delivered. After notifying us, you normally have a further 14 days to send the goods back.

Shopify’s automated return eligibility applies to items purchased after the return rules were turned on or last updated. This does not affect any statutory rights that apply to an earlier purchase.

Item condition

You may inspect goods as you reasonably would in a shop. Please return the item complete, with all accessories and original packaging where reasonably possible. We may reduce a refund only where permitted by law to reflect a loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the goods’ nature, characteristics and functioning.

Collectible products can lose substantial value when packs, boxes or factory seals are opened. Opening a sealed collectible is not treated as an automatic restocking charge, but any lawful refund may reflect proven diminished value caused by excessive handling.

How to request a return

Request a return through your Shopify customer account, email info@pokebabsi.com, or use our Contact page. Include your order number, the item you want to return and the reason for the return. For damage, a fault or an incorrect item, please include clear photographs of the product, packaging and shipping label.

If the return is accepted, we will provide the correct returns address and instructions. Do not send returns to our registered office and do not send anything before receiving return instructions, as this may delay or prevent us from identifying your return.

Free return shipping

For an accepted eligible return, we will provide free standard return shipping or a prepaid return label where supported. Please use the return method and instructions we provide. If you choose a different or upgraded service without our prior agreement, we may not reimburse the additional cost.

Restocking fee and lawful deductions

Our Shopify return rules display a 10% restocking fee. This fee will be applied only to a voluntary return that falls outside mandatory consumer cancellation or faulty-goods rights and that we separately agree to accept, including an eligible business-to-business return, and only to the extent permitted by law.

We will not deduct a blanket restocking fee from a valid UK statutory cancellation made within the 14-day cancellation period, or from a remedy for goods that are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied. For a statutory cancellation, the only product-value deduction we may make is a lawful deduction for diminished value caused by handling beyond what would be permitted in a shop.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact us as soon as possible if anything is faulty, damaged, missing or incorrect. We will assess the issue and provide the remedy required by law, which may include a refund, repair or replacement. We will cover reasonable return costs for a faulty, damaged, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied item. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

One-hour cancellation window

For items that have not been fulfilled, our Shopify cancellation rules allow an eligible cancellation request within 1 hour of the order being placed. Use the cancellation option in your customer account where available, or contact us immediately.

After the 1-hour operational window, contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that we can stop or change an order once processing or fulfilment has begun. If the order has already been fulfilled or dispatched, you may use the return and statutory cancellation rights described in this policy. The 1-hour window does not remove or shorten your legal right to cancel most online purchases after delivery.

Exceptions

Change-of-mind cancellation rights may not apply to:

  • goods made to your specification or clearly personalised;
  • digital content supplied immediately after you expressly agreed to supply beginning and acknowledged the effect on your cancellation right;
  • services fully performed after you expressly requested performance to begin during the cancellation period and acknowledged the effect on your cancellation right; and
  • products explicitly purchased to be opened during a livestream or personalised opening service once that performance has begun with your prior agreement.

Gift cards cannot normally be returned as a change-of-mind return. These exceptions do not remove your rights where goods or services are faulty, misdescribed or not supplied with reasonable care and skill.

Sale items

Sale and discounted items have the same statutory rights as full-price items.

Refunds

We will confirm when we receive and assess your return. Where a refund is due, it will be made to the original payment method without undue delay and normally within 14 days after we receive the goods back or, where applicable, evidence that you sent them.

For a valid statutory cancellation, we will also refund the standard outbound delivery charge. If you selected a more expensive delivery method, the additional upgrade cost is not refundable. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to display the refund.

Exchanges

We do not guarantee direct exchanges. The quickest option is usually to return the original item and place a separate order once the return has been accepted.

International customers

Customers outside the UK may have additional mandatory rights under local law. Nothing in this policy is intended to restrict those rights.

Shipping and delivery Dispatch, tracking, safe places and missing parcels

Last updated: 14 August 2026

Babsi Cards ships from the United Kingdom. This policy explains how we process and deliver orders placed through babsicards.com.

Order processing and dispatch

Orders placed before 3:00 pm UK time on a business day are normally handed to the carrier the same day. Orders placed after the cut-off, at weekends or on UK bank holidays are normally processed on the next business day.

Dispatch times are estimates rather than guarantees. Payment or address checks, unusually high order volumes, pre-orders and circumstances outside our reasonable control can delay dispatch. If a product page states a different dispatch date, the product-page information takes priority.

United Kingdom delivery

Available services are calculated at checkout according to the items in your basket, parcel weight and delivery address. Current UK options include:

  • Royal Mail Tracked 48: normally 2–3 business days after dispatch.
  • Royal Mail Tracked 24: normally the next business day after dispatch.

Royal Mail delivery times are targets and are not guaranteed. UK tracked delivery currently starts from £3.99. Some eligible UK orders of £60 or more qualify for free Tracked 48 delivery; when available, this is applied automatically at checkout.

International delivery

We currently offer delivery to supported EU and worldwide destinations where a shipping option is available at checkout. EU Standard International delivery currently starts at £14.99. Worldwide Standard International delivery currently starts at £23.99, and FedEx Express may be available for eligible parcels.

International prices and available services vary by destination, parcel weight and the products ordered. The options and price shown at checkout are the ones that apply to your order. International delivery times are estimates and can be affected by customs processing, local carriers and events outside our control.

Customs, import VAT and duties

International orders may be subject to import VAT, customs duty, handling fees or other charges imposed by the destination country. Unless these charges are expressly collected at checkout, they are the recipient’s responsibility and are not included in our shipping charge. We cannot control these charges or customs delays.

Tracking

When your selected service includes tracking, we will send tracking details after the carrier accepts the parcel. Tracking can take a short time to update after dispatch. Please check your email address and spam folder for shipping notifications.

Delivery addresses and changes

Please check the delivery address carefully before completing checkout. If you need to correct an address, contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee changes after an order has entered processing or been dispatched.

If a parcel is returned because the address supplied was incomplete or incorrect, or because delivery was refused or not collected, we will contact you to arrange the next step. Additional delivery charges may apply where permitted by law.

Split shipments

We may send items from the same order in separate parcels where necessary. If we do, you will not be charged an additional shipping fee unless we agree this with you in advance.

Late, missing or damaged parcels

If your parcel is late, please first check the tracking information and any delivery notice left by the carrier. If it has not arrived within the carrier’s expected timeframe, contact us and we will help investigate.

If an order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and clear photographs of the outer packaging, shipping label and affected items. Please keep all packaging while we review the issue.

Goods remain our responsibility until they are delivered to you or to a person you identified to receive them, except where you independently arranged a carrier that we did not offer. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights.

Contact us

For delivery questions, contact us through our Contact page or email info@pokebabsi.com. Please include your order number so we can help quickly.

Terms and conditions Ordering, payments, products and website use

Last updated: 14 August 2026

These Terms of Service apply to purchases and use of babsicards.com. Babsi Cards is a trading name of Pokebabsi LTD (“Babsi Cards”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Please read these terms before placing an order.

1. About us

Pokebabsi LTD is a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 14376675. Our registered office is 1 Stanyards Courtyard, Stanyards Farm, Chertsey Road, Chobham, England, GU24 8JE. Our VAT number is 427013136. The registered office is not our returns address.

You can contact us at info@pokebabsi.com or through our Contact page.

2. Using our store

You must use our store lawfully and provide accurate, complete information. If you are under 18, you should use the store and place orders only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who can enter into the contract.

You must not interfere with the operation or security of the website, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, scrape the store in a way that harms it, or use the website to infringe another person’s rights.

3. Products and availability

We take reasonable care to describe and photograph products accurately. Screen settings, packaging revisions and manufacturer updates can cause minor differences that do not materially affect the product. Product availability and inventory can change without notice.

Trading cards and sealed products are sold as described on the relevant product page. Unless a listing expressly states otherwise, purchasing a sealed product does not guarantee any particular card, rarity or value.

4. Prices, VAT and delivery charges

Prices are shown in the selected store currency and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown before you complete checkout. International customers may also need to pay import VAT, customs duty or carrier handling charges unless checkout expressly states that these have been collected.

If a price or product description contains an obvious error, we may correct it. If the error affects an order, we will contact you and give you the option to continue on the corrected basis or cancel for a full refund.

5. Placing an order

Your order is an offer to buy the items in your basket. An automated order confirmation acknowledges that we received the order but does not necessarily mean it has been accepted. A contract is formed when we send a dispatch confirmation or otherwise begin fulfilling the order.

We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance if payment is not authorised, stock is unavailable, delivery is not possible, we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse, or there is an obvious pricing or listing error. If payment has already been taken, we will refund the affected amount.

6. Payment

You must use a payment method that you are authorised to use. Payments are processed by Shopify and the payment providers offered at checkout. Additional provider terms may apply to services such as instalment or wallet payments.

7. Dispatch and delivery

Delivery options, costs and estimated timings are explained in our Shipping Policy and at checkout. Delivery estimates are not guarantees unless we expressly agree a guaranteed date.

If a product is a pre-order or has a future dispatch date, the information on its product page takes priority. Where an order contains items with different availability dates, we may wait until all items are available or split the shipment where appropriate.

Goods remain our responsibility until they are delivered to you or a person you identify to receive them, except where you independently appoint a carrier that we did not offer.

8. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Your cancellation and return rights are explained in our Return and Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights, including rights relating to goods that are faulty, misdescribed or not fit for purpose.

9. Live openings and other services

Some listings may involve a livestream opening, grading submission or another service. The product page will explain what is included, whether a sealed item will be opened and what will be shipped to you.

If you expressly request a service to begin during a statutory cancellation period, we may ask you to acknowledge how that affects your cancellation rights. Once an agreed livestream opening or personalised performance has begun, change-of-mind cancellation may no longer be available for the performed element. This does not affect your rights where the service was not provided with reasonable care and skill or was not as described.

10. Promotions and discount codes

Promotions and discount codes are subject to their stated eligibility, dates, exclusions and usage limits. Unless stated otherwise, codes cannot be combined, exchanged for cash or applied retrospectively. We may refuse use that is fraudulent, abusive or contrary to the promotion’s terms.

11. Customer accounts

You are responsible for maintaining control of the email account and sign-in methods used for your customer account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account or order information has been accessed without permission.

12. Intellectual property

The website design, Babsi Cards branding, original text, graphics and other content owned by us may not be copied, republished or commercially exploited without permission. Product names, game artwork and third-party trade marks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification.

13. Reviews and submitted content

If you submit a review, photograph or other content, it must be honest, lawful and must not infringe another person’s rights. You remain responsible for your content. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to display and use it in connection with operating and promoting our store, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

14. Third-party services and links

Our store can link to or use third-party services such as payment providers, delivery carriers and social platforms. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply. We are not responsible for independent third-party websites that we do not control.

15. Our responsibility to you

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or breach of rights that cannot legally be excluded.

We supply products for private consumer use. We are not responsible for business losses such as loss of profit, revenue, opportunity or data where you use products for commercial purposes and such losses were not reasonably foreseeable under a consumer contract.

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, but we will take reasonable steps to reduce the impact and will respect any cancellation or refund rights that apply.

16. Personal information

We handle personal information as explained in our Privacy Policy.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to our services, business or legal obligations. The terms in force when you placed an order will normally apply to that order unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.

18. General

If a court finds part of these terms unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply. If we delay enforcing a right, that does not waive it. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under a contract without our written agreement, but we may transfer ours where this does not reduce your rights.

19. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you also retain the benefit of mandatory protections in your home jurisdiction and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you there. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern.
